My family of 4 (including 2 adult children) thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Puerto Valletta. The Portofino Condo met our needs perfectly -- there was ample space; the unit was beautifully appointed and immaculate; the views of the ocean were incredible; and swimming in the pools was heavenly -- we happen to love warm water pools. The complex is extremely well maintained and secure and is located next door to the Marriott Hotel (which was convenient for renting a car). Given the heat, we were not inclined to any strenuous exercise, but the complex offers tennis courts (rackets are provided) and a gym with a full complement of equipment. The complex is situated within easy walking distance of the Marina where a variety of services and restaurants may be found. All in all, we felt the experience equaled staying at a 4 Star hotel but enabled us to have more space and comfort than is possible in a standard hotel room.
