As an alternative to a simple hotel room, this condo offers an entirely different vacation experience. It will be like having your own private home, directly on a lovely Caribbean beach. Imagine your own private balcony that overlooks a turquoise ocean, with a beautiful coral sand beach directly below you. This is not just a pretty view. You are ON the Beach! The unobstructed 180 degree view is breathtaking.
The sliding doors in the living room open completely to your private balcony, so the beach becomes part of your living area. The living room and dining area are spacious, and provide lots of room for entertaining, or just relaxing. The kitchen is a separate room Instead of going "out" to eat for every meal, you can cook "in" if you prefer, as you have a complete kitchen, with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. The bedroom is a separate room as well with a large walk-in closet, and bathroom attached. The bedroom has a large sliding picture window that faces the ocean, so at night, with the window open, you'll feel like you are lying on the beach, and the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep. The bed is Queen sized with an extra thick mattress. The condo comes furnished with all linens, towels, kitchen equipment, air conditioner, and many other amenities. All you need to bring is your clothing and toiletries.

Nearby Attractions: - The Condo is in Condado, on the beach, next to the Marriott and a 10 minute drive/ taxi ride from San Juan airport (Muniz Marin) or a 10 min Taxi from the cruise ship docks. If you are not familiar with Condado Beach area, it is perhaps the most popular, and well maintained, beach in Puerto Rico. The condo " Stella Maris" is on the beach, facing the ocean, and 4 floors up (the building has an elevator). The building is very secure. The property is fully enclosed and gated. A key is
The condo was well maintained secure and in a great location. One of the nicest beaches in PR was under the balcony of the condo. Restaurants, stores and information for acivities in PR were within walking distance.
This apartment is ideal for those who want to vacation on the Condado in San Juan. It is a spacious one-bedroom right on the beach with a lovely balcony. I have rented several apartments in this building over many years and I can say that 3A has become my favorite. The owner is friendly and accommodating and the location cannot be beat.
I cannot come up with enough adjectives to describe our stay. Right from the start with booking the time that we wanted to receiving the keys and walking through the doors was fantastic! The condo felt like home right from the start and the freedom that you can decide to cook or not was great. The condo is in the heart of the Condado area and walking down Ashford is safe and like Fred said, use your head. LOVE LOVE the view right from the living area and bedroom. No need for AC...there is a constant breeze and the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep in no time. I LOVED STAYING HERE and at 1/2 the price of a hotel ROOM! what you get is 4 1/2 rooms to wander. I give it 5 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 !!!!!! THANK YOU FRED!! Everything that you could possibly need such as beach chairs, wine glasses, towels etc, all the amenities.
The apartment was located right on the beach. You can enjoy the ocean all day long. The location is very convenient with buses going to old San Juan. The area is very active, with many hotels, restaurants, pubs, and casinos. There is also a 24-hr Walgreen around the corner. For parking, there is a valet parking from a nearby casino, ~ $9/day. This is probably the cheapest you can get. Overall, this apartment is a pleasant place to stay and a good value for the money.
The location of this condo could not be better. We loved that we were only steps away from the beach. The condo was clean and well maintained. We were told that all we needed to bring was our clothes, food and iPods and everything else would be provided. It was! The owner was a joy to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to family and friends. Thank you Fred for a wonderfully relaxing, hassle-free vacation.
We stayed for 1 week. The condo was clean, spacious & had all the amenities, including AC in the bedroon, WIFI & flat screen TV. It is directly on the beach & we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the ocean. The location is excellent, just 1 short block off the "main drag". A 24 Walgreens, with groceries, is on the corner. Many good restaurants are with 5-6 blocks. Fred, the owner, was very accommodating. The entire process, from reservation to exiting the condo, went without a hitch.
• No AC in the living/dining room (ceiling fan only with hot and muggy weather is very uncomfortable) one wall unit AC in the bedroom with a warning that a charge will be leveled if the unit is left on. • Paint falling off the ceiling of the patio. • Ugly rusted iron bars to get into the complex, and again to get into the unit. In fact there are 5 keys needed to gain entrance. It looks and feels like you are entering a prison compound. • Laundry room was “Out of Order” broken water pipe • No electricity in the kitchen until you trip a circuit breaker. Maybe worst of all, parking is non-existent. The unit is located on a narrow, dead-end street that backs up to the beach so finding a parking spot on the street is next to impossible. Other rentals in the building provide access to the parking space that each unit is allotted, but not this one. I called the owner and was advised to park in the Walgreens parking lot (several blocks away). I’m sure Walgreens would not be too pleased with that arrangement and part of your vacation would be spent learning how to get your car back after it is towed away. Don’t forget to buy a wagon so you can bring food and supplies back to the condo. Other owners that rent condos in the same building are not so deceiving, and either allow parking in their assigned space, or warn of the difficult parking situation. For the amount of money this owner is charging, you expect to get a comfortable condo to spend a vacation. We took one look at the place and immediately left and rented a room in the Marriott for not much more money than what we threw away on this place – Thank goodness, we only lost money. Our vacation was saved by a very pleasant stay at the Marriott.
Owner Response: I make no claim to offer parking with this condo and actually encourage guests to not rent a car as the condo is in the center of the tourist area and well within walking distance of everything. Driving in Puerto Rico is dangerous so I discourage anyone from driving. No where in my ads do I offer parking and yet at 11PM when this guest arrived he called to ask how he could get his car onto the property to park. When I told him that there was no on-site parking and suggested the pay lot at the local Walgreen's, he became outraged. Two of the other residents of the building called me the next day and said that they had almost called the police because they thought something bad was happening on the property. I tried my best to placate this man, but nothing I could say seemed to please him and he said that he would not be staying at my condo and expected a full refund. The building was scheduled to be painted the Monday after his arrival (Saturday) and had been scraped the prior week so the comment about the rust on the outer gate, and on the walls was fair, The 5 keys are set up to provide security: One to enter the property, one to use the elevator to your specific floor, and the condo has an outer gate as well as a door lock. The 5th key is for a back stairwell in case the elevator is not working. Most guests love the level of secure feeling the building offers. Now my Condo: The air conditioner unit IS in the bedroom but has outlets throughout the condo so the entire condo is cooled. A note in the departure guidelines is where I ask that the A/C not be left on with all the windows open when you leave or a $20.00 fine will be charged. The circuit breaker in the kitchen works a lighted palm tree, a decoration, that guests have the option of using, or not. As for being on a narrow dead end street. Condado ave and Ashford ave is the main intersection of the entire Condado tourist area and is 2 buildings away. A dead end street it is indeed! It "ends" at the ocean on Condado beach, perhaps the most beautiful beach in all of San Juan. Condado is a 24 hour tourist area and streets are crowded at all hours, hardly a dangerous area. I take great pride in my properties at Stella Maris and the dozens of repeat guests can attest to the satisfaction they derive form staying at my condo. It is always unfortunate when a situation like this occurs, but if I have learned anything in this business is that you can't make everyone happy, no matter how hard you try.
