LOCATION: The Four Winds Condominiums are located on the east side of A1A approximately two and a half miles south of Route 206 from I-95 South St. Augustine @ 8130 on Hwy A1A. (Ref.: MapQuest link). RESERVATION: Mature and Responsible adult, 25 or older, to vacation at the Condo. ID required. Vacation lease (e-mailed by owner) to be completed and returned with $200.00 security deposit. PAYMENT & KEY: Vacation payment is to be sent approximately 2 wks prior to reservation. You will then be provided the key code, directions, and condo tips. CANCELLATION POLICY: The following conditions apply if another guest reserves your time: 1. If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to your stay, $150.00 is refunded. 2. If you cancel within 4 weeks, $100.00 is refunded. The following conditions apply if another guest does not reserve your time: 1. If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to your stay, $100.00 is refunded. 2. If you cancel within 4 weeks, $0.00 is refunded. The following exception applies: Cancellation due to weather or a hurricane warning during the time of your stay will result in a $150.00 refund, or the entire deposit can be applied to an equivalent time scheduled within the following 6 months. My wife and I recently stayed B11 condo at Four Winds to celebrate her birthday and enjoy four days at the beach. We were very pleasantly surprised with every aspect of this property. The reservation process was done online and worked efficiently to book the unit and communicate with us about our stay. We were totally happy with the location – from the 2nd floor balcony we had a great view of the ocean just over the dunes. The complex where it is located is thoughtfully laid out to provide a large green space in between the buildings. This contributes to the peaceful beach environment with palm trees and flowering plants. We saw a number of gopher turtles and rabbits coming out of the dunes to wander around the grounds. The location on the beach is also wonderful because it is sparsely populated and perfect for setting up an umbrella and chairs or taking long walks along the pristine shoreline. We certainly were able to get our full dose of sun and sea that we had been anticipating! Inside the unit, everything was well organized and clean with everything we needed to make our stay there as enjoyable as possible. We are already planning our next beach adventure with this condo in mind!
My family recently returned from our third trip to B11 Four Winds. I simply cannot say enough good things about the unit and the owners. The unit is clean with an abundance of linen, kitchen supplies, games, books, DVDs and even pool and beach toys. It is situated so that one can sit on the balcony and see the pool, lawn AND ocean. The complex is quiet and family oriented and the beach is clean and wide and beautiful. This year, we especially enjoyed watching Easter egg hunts on the lawn. In the evenings, the beach becomes so desolate that it feels as if you are on your own private vacation while taking a stroll. We enjoy walking to the inlet and collecting shells (provided we could get our daughter out of the pool long enough). St Augustine is only a short drive north for sightseeing and is one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the country. The owners are very professional and a joy to work with. Very good people who keep up a nice, clean, updated condo. In my opinion, this is the most reasonably priced unit in the most beautiful stretch of Florida's coast. Of course, it was sad to leave and we're looking forward to coming back.
