At night, you can see the lights from passing cruise ships in the distance from the lanai. The stars at night in this rural area are very bright and seem to be very close! The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, blender, coffee maker, range, refrigerator, and all cooking and dining needs. This lovely home is located in a quiet, oceanfront, gated community with easy accessibility to Kapoho Bay and the ocean itself. There are several calm lagoons for swimming and snorkeling. Some of the lagoons are even heated by geothermal fresh-water springs! A guide-map at the house will direct you to all the best spots. The quaint town of Pahoa is just 10 minutes by car for groceries, gas, and some great little restaurants - Thai, Italian & Mexican to name a few! The Makuu Farmer's Market is held every Sunday and is about 20 minutes by car - fresh, local food, arts and crafts, music, fun! The small town of Pahoa also has an olympic size swimming pool free to the public open daily 9-4:30. Kehena Black Sand Beach is just 20 minutes south from Pualani, and on the way you pass the wonderful Ahalanui Public Hot Pond - an oceanfront protected "pool" that is geothermally heated and in a most picturesque environment!
