The apartment is in the 10th Arrondissement, just steps from the romantic Canal St. Martin. It is a fourth floor apartment, oriented east and west with an elevator. The apartment is charming and bright, with lovely oak floors and a decorative fireplace in the living area. The building is a classic, pierre de taille (the "upscale" facing material used in the early 1900's) with a spacious and light-filled entry. The neighborhood is young and lively with lots of restaurants and shops. Only a block away, at the end of the street, is Canal St. Martin, the Square Villemin park, and many little restaurants and French bistros. The apartment is ideally situated to easily and quickly get to all of Paris. Close by is Metro station Jacques Bonsergent while the Gare de l'Est trainstation is only a short walk away One bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two singles.
