We could not be more pleased with our experience here. We came up from Texas for a "getaway" week of peace and tranquility in the cool U.P... and that is EXACTLY what we got! The Buck Rack is a GREAT place to stay - clean, cozy, comfortable with great views and direct access to the lake. The lake itself is surprisingly quiet, which afforded us the tranquility we so desperately wanted. We were lucky enough to watch a bald eagle go fishing and also spent time admiring the ducks, herons, frogs... amongst other wildlife. If we get back up to the U.P. then the Buck Rack is definitely where we would stay again - in a heartbeat!
