Inside a rural estate, Casa Torre do Galo is a traditional stone house, located 5 Km from Viana do Castelo, in Santa Marta de Portuzelo. This small town is famous for its folklore, gastronomy and its local festivities that take place on the second week-end of August. Distance to beach: 6 Km. Porto is 70 Km distant, and to the spanish border is 50 Km.
This country house is the result of restoration work of the old rural store rooms, preserving the original architecture. It comprises 3 bedrooms (two with double beds, one with twin beds), electric heaters in the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, with sleeping couch, fireplace and TV, garden under a vineyard, with BBQ, parking place and a shared swimming pool. Sleeps up to 6 adults and one child.
In the main house, a first floor apartment with separate entrance is also available. It consists of 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 single), 2 bathrooms, living room with TV, fireplace and sleeping couch, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A cozy shaded terrace with BBQ is to be found on the ground floor, in front of the old winepress. This apartment shares the swimming pool and has a private parking place.
