An oceanfront beach house on Plum Island, off Newburyport, Massachusetts. The master bedroom has a queen bed, from which you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. Also on the main/upper floor are an adjoining full bathroom with tub/shower, plus kitchen, living and dining rooms, which are surrounded on three sides with thermal, screened, double-hung windows. Sunsets are viewable across the Basin to the west, from the dining room and kitchen. The living, dining, kitchen and master bedrooms have 12' ceilings with ceiling fans, and the master has two skylights. Off the living room on the ocean side is an open, railed deck, with gas grill, table, umbrella and chairs.

Downstairs on the ground floor is a guest bedroom, which has a queen bed and three windows, plus a den/TV room with five windows, and two double-size foldout sofas for additional sleeping space. Also on the ground floor are a second, full, windowed bath with a washer & dryer, plus storage and utility rooms. There's a third shower outdoors. The Yankee Belle was once a hot dog stand, later a gift shop, and was used by the current owner as a summer cottage from 1979 until it was completely rebuilt from the foundation up and winterized in 2000. We're on Northern Boulevard, two or three minutes' walk from Mad Martha's, and five or six from Dick's Variety Store. The Parker River Nature Reserve is a fifteen minute bike ride. The surf is 150 yards from the house at high tide.
