Located in Boulder Bay, right across the street from the lake, Rooster’s Den has a peek-a-boo view and is a few steps away from Pleasure Point Marina. A BOAT SLIP is ready and waiting for those of you who wish to bring your boat – small $50 charge on top of rental.   Depending on your booking we might be able to get the slip free for you.   Just ask.   This home is very eclectic with and old time Big Bear feel to it, not to mention lots of owner nick-knacks.  The main room features an open floor plan with tung and groove.  The knotty pine adds to the warm inviting atmosphere. Large wooden beams create the warmth you would expect in a cabin in the mountains and the window abound to bring the outdoors in which makes it a great indoor experience!  French doors throughout with peaceful views.   Sit back and relax next to the gas log fireplace featuring a floor to ceiling native rock structure with a beautiful wood mantle. Flat screen 35” TV with VCR and DVD combo.   The dining area opens to the living room and has an adorable country kitchen.  Enjoy cooking on the charming antique cook top but is actually modern and easy to use.   A bar separates the kitchen from the dining area is great for using as a buffet for entertaining or extra space for dining. The Queen master bedroom is located on this main floor and also opens into an awesome bathroom. An antique but modern bath tub is situated in the room and makes a fun place to bath and relax. There is a  separate shower as well.  Moving up stairs you are treated to two additional charming bedrooms and one bath. One bedroom has a Double bed and the other offers two twins each having its own trundle. The spacious deck on the main level adds to the outdoor entertainment options with great views and a large yard for the kids and pets to play in.  The yard is gated as well.  Lake view street is flat so great for taking a stroll to the lake and marina or possibly riding bikes.  There's plenty to do in Big Bear!  Approximately 2 miles to the shopping village & Pine Knot Marina, 3 miles to Meadow Park Swim Beach, 4 miles to Snow Summit Ski Resort, and 5 miles from Bear Mountain
