6.75% NC TAX GRANNY'S AND PA'S CABIN The cabin is 1 mile from the stoplight in Banner Elk, NC. The cabin was totally re-built for the 2012 rental year. It has central heating and air, with ceiling fans. The cabin has a full kitchen with custom built cabinets. There is a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and more. There is a washer, and dryer. All rooms have hardwood floors w/area rugs. The Living area has a 40” HD TV(Direct TV). The cabin has 1 bedroom downstairs with queen bed. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs-one with a queen bed and one with a full bed. There is a Futon sofa downstairs in the living area that makes a bed. The cabin will sleep 8. There are 2 bathrooms - one full bath with tub, and one with a ceramic tile shower. All linens and towels are furnished. There is an abundance of parking. There is a small stream that goes down through the property. (Fishing is permitted with NC fishing license). In the summer, you can go to sleep listening to the sound of the stream. There is a front porch with chairs to relax in. There is also a side deck to sit at the table and listen to the stream.
