Cosy, comfortable apartment overlooking one of Madrid's most charming plazas, featuring a 17th-century convent, a splash of greenery in the city center, colorful building facades, 2 stylish cafés and a Mexican restaurant where you can sip on a margarita or down some tacos outdoors on a warm night. Bright and sunny, the apartment has a balcony offering open views of the square, as well as of Madrid's famous blue skies and sunsets. Ideal for couples, single travelers or good friends. The apartment has a living room, a sleeping alcove with a comfortable double bed, a spacious bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette. (The apartment also has an extra--and also very comfortable--single mattress that can accommodate a third person for short stays.) Beautiful details include old marble floors, a vaulted ceiling, exposed wood beams and authentic Spanish terracotta kitchen tiles. Designed by a well-known Spanish interior designer, the apartment is in a recently restored 18th-century building located in a lovely neighborhood with cobblestoned streets in the heart of Madrid. A personal pad for true romantics.

This is a lovely traditional Madrid apartment with a lovely view over a quiet plaza (a bit noisy after school for an hour or so but nothing to worry about). Small but enough space for a couple. The area is great and you can walk in minutes to anywhere you would want to go. The apartment had everything I needed. The hosts were lovely and even helped me late at night when I could not open the door! If you want traditional Madrid in the heart of the city then I would recommend.
Nuria was very hospitable and attentive to us even before we arrived. She recommended nearby restaurants and places we should see based on things we mentioned in our profile, she was throughtful enough to check in on us by phone when she wasn't able to be there to let us in, and she was very flexible in giving us a late checkout time. The place was very cosy and well maintained, like a private nest. The portable aircon was OK and the bathroom was nice and spacious. It was in a very good location, walkable to Gran Via and metro.
