Harborton is 1/2 hour south of Chincoteague for the Annual Pony Swim, and the Wallops Island visitors center and 1/2 north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.There is plenty of water, even at low tide for your boat. Our home is about a mile from the open Chesapeake! The Eastern Shore is only 2 hours from the DC metro area, but a lifetime away...truly a step back in time.
