We enjoyed our stay!

I was fortunate to stay here with my family for 4 evenings. Seems like a short time but we were able to fit in so many activities it felt like we vacationed for an entire week. I love the inside of the house, beautifull notty pine and very well kept. The way it was set up made it so easy to keep clean. I had some favorite sitting areas to get a view of Sawyer Lake, the picture window being my favorite spot. The notes around the house were extremely helpful and informattive and having so many things accessible (stove, gasgrill, dishes, wash n dryer, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, linen, pots & pans, even a tea pot. etc....) made our stay so much more enjoyable and stress free. Able to cook some great meals on the grill! Also, we loved the welcome gift.. what a nice surprise and very thoughtful. The area is very nice. We did lot's of walking around the lake and the upper dirt roads. Took the suggestion to try out trail 15 too. Not sure if we got the right trail but we were quite surprised to find several pigs in a pen! My daughter gave them all names. Also on our travel back we found some 'fools' gold (at least I think its fools.. wouldn't I be surprised if it weren't). Nice quiet area and a good opportunity for us to explore new areas! As an added bonus - Lake Winnipesauki is less than 1/2 hour away. We travelled to Merideth and Laconia for a few days to do some boating, beach, and go-carts. Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
