"Casa De Halapeño" is an enchanting spacious 850 Square Foot 1 bedroom/1bath unit with "old style" charm. Because of its unique location it has great ocean views from every room! It is located in "Old Town" directly above blue chairs on Los Muertos Beach. Stone work, hand painted tiles and water feature comprise the flavor of this unit. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. Sleeps 2.
Being a complex made up of two towers and groups of units on the hillside there is a funicular. This is a cable car type of lift to take you from the main road to the parking area. It operates from 0600am till 0100am. If you love walking you can also take the steep roadway or stairs up to the unit. This is a private complex and the property is kept in immaculate shape by the maintenance staff and security kept by the night watchman. As this is my second home I hope you will enjoy and respect it.

Nearby Attractions: - This is my second home. It is centrally located (south of the river, Zona Romantica) with the beach, restaurants, shopping, cinema, internet cafes, Spanish language classes, fitness center, grocery store, hospital, etc., less than 10 minutes on foot or a $3 taxi ride! I don't recommend a vehicle. Walking, taking the bus or the occassional taxi are far better than being cocooned in a car and missing out on the interaction with the local people.
