Grandview Hideaway is your private destination for a little rest and relaxation while taking in the spectacular views of Lake Cle Elum and the Cascade Mountains! The cabin is perched above the lake on 20 private acres that backs up to national forest land. During the winter you can snowmobile directly from the cabin to over 200 miles of groomed trails and back country powder bowls! The summer offers a multitude of activities from jet skiing/boating on the lake to hiking and biking into the pristine back country! The cozy cabin boasts 2 Bedrooms and a ladder leading to a loft off the great room. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second bedroom has a Twin over Full Bunk Bed. Up in the great room loft there is another Queen Bed. There is a second loft off the main entrance that is accesible via a pull down ladder that is great for kids in sleeping bags. The real wood burning fireplace is the centerpiece of the great room. You'll also find a stereo system with a CD Player and IPod jack. The bathroom is very unique with a whirlpool bathtub and a heated, bidet toilet! Grandview Hideaway has all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer, gas range/cooktop and a wine cooler. The cabin has a Flatscreen TV w/DVD (no cable or satellite service). Just off the great room is a large deck with unbelievable views of the lake and mountains. Once you enter the home you'll want to kick off your shoes, start up a fire and just sit back in the comfortable great room and take in the views!! The cabin is located in the private, gated community of Morgan Creek on the north side of Lake Cle Elum. During the summer months you can enjoy the community lake access with a beach side log gazebo. The lake offers excellent fishing, boating, waterskiing and jet skiing. There's a boat launch just 2 miles down the road. The Cle Elum River is just a short 1 mi drive from the cabin! The paved road to the cabin is fairly steep. It is plowed during the Winter, but 4 Wheel Drive with good all terrain tires and/or chains is recommended. Please bring your own firewood! Firewood is not supplied at this cabin. (You can rent snowmobiles, scooters, jet skiis and boats at nearby rental shops. Please ask for information when making your reservation.)
