Nestled on the border of theTonto National Forest, this quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin provides a quiet escape from busy life. Our kitchen is fully stocked so you are welcome to cook in house or hit the town if the cook wants the weekend off too. Cabin was remodeled in Fall of 2009 creating a new bathroom, new wood flooring, fresh paint throughout, and laundry facilities. Absolutely no smoking on property. Wildlife abounds so bring your camera as you escape from the heat or play in the snow.

Nearby Attractions: - Escape the heat this summer in this quaint, newly remodeled cabin retreat. Situated on the Tonto National Forest it is less than 2 hours from Central Phoenix and located in the tall ponderosa pines. Hiking trails, horse back riding & wildlife abound. You will be walking distance to berry picking, antique stores, and restaurants in the town of Pine, and a short drive away from the casino, the Tonto Natural Bridge, fish hatchery and more.
Our family stayed at the Hackett cabin over the Labor Day Weekend. We had the most wonderful time and wished we didn't have to leave. The cabin is adorable and yet spacious, and feels like a Norman Rockwell experience. It has all of the comforts from home and modern amenities too. The cabin has everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. It even has toys and games for the children. We'd love to keep it just our little secret but we are kind enough to share. We are already planning when we can go again!
We stayed at the Hackett Cabin for New Year's Weekend. We had a great time. The cabin is adorable and very clean and quaint. The property was very private and quiet and very close to Pine and Strawberry. Would definitely recommend this cabin. FYI: No cable TV so bring DVDs!

We stayed at the Hackett Cabin back in Oct 2011. I would highly recommend this place because it had everything we needed as a family. The place was clean, cozy and so comfortable. It was a great escape, a quick drive from Tempe and we will definitely be returning!
We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Pine for Elk hunting. This cabin was in our area and was the right price. When we arrived it was late and cold, but the cabin heated quickly with a roaring fire and individual room heaters. Very clean, comfortable beds,and convenient to the town of Pine. The surrounding cabins are beautiful but not pretentious. I recommend the cabin and the area for a fun holiday.
