A number of picturesque lakes and connecting waterways make up for a paradise for canoe or kayaking lovers. Grouse Mountain, Cypress, and Seymour skiing areas are within 35-50 minutes drive. Travel time to the Whistler Olympic sites is about 2 ½ hours. After an active outdoorsy day you can spend the evening at one of the many Vancouver night clubs nearby.
