Come enjoy total relaxation at Island Point Escape on Lake Hartwell. Our beautiful and private luxury home is situated on 206 feet of lakeshore and 2 acres of land. Enjoy wide-open views of Lake Hartwell and gorgeous sunsets from our covered boat dock with a hammock and a lift for your boat. Lake Hartwell Island Point Escape is just a 2 hour drive from Atlanta or Charlotte, and is conveniently located between Anderson, SC and Hartwell, GA.
Lake Hartwell Island Point Escape is newly decorated with “Florida ocean” colors and equipped with very comfortable oversized furniture. There are beds to sleep up to 10 people without the use of an uncomfortable hide-a-bed sofa. The house offers a large eat-in kitchen with two tables to comfortably seat 10 people. Appliances include: microwave, range top oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator with ice maker and full size washer/dryer. The large family room (20x20) has a satellite TV, DVD, and VCR player.
Outdoors you will find plenty of space to relax in the screened porch, lakeside covered porch with barbeque and patio furniture and a front porch area. The large level yard is great for football, bocce ball, croquet or any other sports your family enjoys. Enjoy beautiful grilling hotdogs or s‘mores around the fire pit in the evening. There is even a fenced yard with a swing set where the children can play. Island Point Escape on Lake Hartwell is the perfect place for making family memories.

We throughly enjoyed staying at the spacious Bruder-Mattson lakehouse for our summer vacation. We are outdoorsy people who enjoy watching wildlife but because of our age, need a comfortable and acessible setting. The lakehouse has a front porch, a back patio, and a screened-in sun porch all with views of the pine tree forests, lake, and sunsets. If you are more adventurous, there is a pathway from the house down to the wooden dock complete with a tire swing, a hammock, a picnic table, and a porch swing. The dock has bench seating and an easy to use ladder which makes swimming and fishing a blast! The layout of the cabin includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a furnished kitchen and a large entertainment room equipped with a murphy bed, television set, board games, and a washer and dryer. Overall the atmosphere of the lakehouse proved to be relaxing and peaceful, just the place we would be willing to return to next year.
