Located in the town of Lucca, just outside the medieval wall of the historic center, this beautiful 1BR apartment is located on the second floor of a 500 year-old Tuscan home.  This recently restored apartment has all the touches of its original Tuscan beauty, yet it is only a 5 minute bike ride (3 bikes available to use) or 15 minute walk to the historic center of Lucca. The apartment has wood-beamed ceilings with authentic terra cotta ceiling tiles, plaster walls with original brick insets, yet a modern kitchen (including microwave), bath, and clothes washer, and wifi. And the large bedroom, with both a queen bed and a single bed, is perfect for a couple or family of three (or possibly four with a small child who can sleep on the sofa). Large windows on both sides of the home make it always sunny and airy. Located in a very peaceful and quiet area, it faces a private courtyard that has space to park your car. You can come to Lucca by train or bus (15 minute walk to either station), and I should be able to pick you up. The apartment is less than a kilometer to the walls of medieval Lucca – shorter with the pedestrian/bike shortcuts used by the locals.
