'An Artist's View' is built remotely on a beautiful, sandy beach. Both upper and lower decks look out over dunes, rolling surf and 88 acres of unspoiled, nature-filled wetlands perfect for butterfly counting or birdwatching where brown pelicans and others tour daily. The beach is quiet and allows for walks on uninterrupted sand for miles. Don't forget to bring a basket for the variety of shells you'll want to add to your collection. From our decks you can view the Bay behind us as well as crashing surf in front. Enjoy a happy hour or two on the upper deck and experience the amazing sunsets you'll find in late afternoon. Texas skies have never been bigger. We hope you enjoy the natural environment that surrounds our home! Galveston is a short twenty minutes away. During the summer (June - August) we only do Friday to Friday weekly rentals.

Wow! What an experience my family and I had when visiting this prime beach house. Located on beach front with the ocean view, smell and sound at all times this couldn't be a better location to rest and relax. I have to be honest, when I got there I didn't want to leave. With shopping and stores within 45 minutes, you can easily go places, but why would you?? The house has all the amenities that you could want for easy cooking/grilling, billiards, satellite TV etc.....I found the house very clean, easy to locate and the owners were just the sweetest folks I have ever met. Thank you for letting me share in this dream! I will be going back as much as I can."
My children and I had the pleasure of staying at your house for several days. I was so impressed by the beautiful decor of the house, the layout, and especially the view of the Gulf. The spacious open kitchen/dining area which flowed into the living room really gave the house the nice "family" feel. The wrap-around deck is fabulous for lounging outside! And the rooms are just beautiful. Lovely furniture/colors, and comfortable baths. The entertainment room upstairs is great (loved the pool table!) We just loved the fact that this house is located right there ON the beach. No driving or parking needed! Full access to a beautiful landscape, with lovely dunes, and peaceful water. The privacy of the location really made us feel like we were on vacation. What a great house! Can't wait to come back and bring daddy next time!
