Our estate offers five acres of lush award winning gardens in a park like setting amongst a majestic rain forest. We border over 300 acres of protected crown land forest and the renowned Wildwood forest. Enjoy two lake front gazebos on a private natural lake stocked with trout and koi are relaxing to watch. We also have a flock of free range heritage chicken roaming the property during the daylight hours for your enjoyment. Bird lovers will enjoy this area; it is considered an incredible bird estuary with hundreds of different kinds of seasonal wild birds. Ocean parks provide another pleasant diversion.   Accommodations:  Coach House country cottage includes 1 large bedroom with down comforters and luxury sheets, 1 full bath provided with towels and sundries, and a large fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances (All dishes, towels, cookware, sundries and utensils are provided,).  Ask and we can even get your initial grocery shopping done.  Our large front room offers sweeping views of the gardens and lake below. The window seat in the front room converts to a double bed and there is an additional roll away single twin bed (sleeps up to 5 quests). The cottage also has a wood burning fireplace/stove with a generous wood supply just out the front door. There is a large private deck overlooking the property. Internet, Wi-Fi, and television with cable and surround sound is also included.   Things to do: The Island offers many things to do with most activities are under 15 min. away.    Imagine, lazy mornings spent sipping coffee on your deck enjoying the sunrise watching the forest come to life - Otters frolic, Great Blue Herons, fish, deer, and larger collection of wild birds not to mention the bald eagles soaring overhead. Spend your morning’s beachcombing the sandstone tidal pools and white shell beaches on the nearby beachfront. Spend your afternoons, kayaking in the sheltered waters, or biking and hiking.
