This vacation home was so wonderful, it was centrally located near everything (beaches, groceries stores, restaurants, park, mall, etc). The house was a wonderful set up with everything you could need. The host of the property was so wonderful as well as very helpful. When it came to needing directions or just a good place to eat, Doris was so sweet to give me suggestion as well as locations. The house was very clean and keep up well. There was more than enough room for me, my husband and our five children. Great back yard for just sitting out in the morning air or hanging out to have a drink at night. The kitchen had all the amenities for cooking. This place would be a wonderful place to meet family, as well as just a romantic stay for two. The property sits with three other units that has a Mellrose Place feel that more that just one family could stay. We felt very safe and at home. I would recommend this property to all my friends and family. If you are a group of people they have all four properties side by side to accommodate anywhere from 2-8 comfortably. This is a affordable place especially when you get a house for less than a hotel. Check this place out, it is in your best interest as well as your families. Thanks again for a memory making trip and a wonderful home you had to rent.
My family and I stayed in this apartment on a few occasions. The place was PERFECT; it accommodated 7 people. The apartment is well-situated, close of great restaurants. Doris was very flexible with check-in and check-out times and she was almost instantly responsive to every inquiry we had from beginning to end. We will definitely stay at his place when we visist Florida again in the future. The apartment was everything the advert stated and Doris went out of his way to be the perfect host. We are a family of seven adults and one child and my most important concerns were the space and location, and I have to say it scored 10/10: additional mattress, beach chairs, umbrellas and parking space were provided. The place is five minutes driving to the beach, thirteen minutes from FLL airport, close to CVS, super market and walk distance from Young Circle where you will find stores and restaurants. I would recommend if you need an affordable, comfortable place located in a wonderful neighborhood in Florida, book this place! You'll be lucky to have Doris as your host.
Me and a couple of my girlfriends rented the unit we loved the place would stay again whenever in Hollywood. Doris was very helpful and made our stay as comfortable as she possible. The accomadations was better then staying in a hotel.
Although we booked through another site, our family enjoyed our stay at this property on S 17th Avenue in Hollywood, Florida the week of February 14-21, 2012. Doris was great to work with, calling us within minutes of our online inquiry of the property. She was very professional, forth-coming with information, and allowed a third-party family member to preview the entire property before our commitment was made. The contract was thorough, fair, and clearly outlined expectations for us as renters. The rental process was seamless. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see that the property and its amenities were exactly as described. Even better were the unexpected extras – camp chairs and a beach umbrella that we utilized several times on our beach excursions. Doris was also sure to welcome us that first day, introducing herself, and ensuring that we had everything we needed. She was easily accessible if necessary throughout our stay. The unit itself was ideal for our family of four (two adults, preschooler, toddler), accommodating our sleeping and eating arrangements nicely. The kitchen was well-stocked and had nearly everything we needed to live comfortably. The only drawback was the lack of child-appropriate plastic ware and dishes – not something we expected, but a nice addition for travelers with young children. We appreciated the cable and wireless internet, updated bath, and attention to detail in the unit. Our stay at this Hollywood property and our interactions with Doris exceeded our expectations. Should we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay at this rental again. Nicely done!
We just completed a one month stay at this property and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is conveniently located and with the bike that the owner provided I could easily bike to the nearby shops and restaurants and even the beach. The place was charming with a great fenced yard that we and our dogs loved. We enjoyed the nearby tennis courts as well, since the apartment included tennis rackets, which we were pleasantly surprised to find. The owners were so nice and helpful. They are on site and were able to help us with anything we needed from recommendations on dining and things to do to providing us with some things that we forgot to bring with us. The keep the apartment in great condition and immaculately clean - it really does look like the pictures. Also, it was really nice to have the washer/dryer in the apartment. We wish we could have stayed longer and already put down a deposit for next year!
