This fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home is only a short walk to Fort Myers Public Beach. No problem; two sliding glass doors open onto a private, covered lanai with a patio set where you can take in the fantastic view of the bay. Adjacent to is a formal dining room that comfortably seats six people, with an additional dining area on the back lanai. The kitchen is well appointed with all the amenities and comforts of home! Whip up some delicious meals for guests in the kitchen or BBQ outside on the grill. While we do not allow smoking in the house, you may feel free to smoke anywhere outside. BEST.VACATION.EVER! My oldest son was invited to play baseball at several of the events in the Ft. Myers area. Because we are from So Cal, we wanted to make a family vacation out of it. So while the rest of the teams camped at a hotel we stayed at the Gruber's home on the bay (60 Emily). My 2 boys (12 and 15) fished every day, used the canoe every day and biked to the beach every day. From the porch and the deck we not only enjoyed the beautiful views, but we loved watching the Manatees and Dolphins. This location is one of a kind, and the home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we could have possibly needed. When the storms hit we relaxed and watched movies. We have been all over the world and I will always choose to stay at this home in Ft. Myers because it was perfect! My Family is thankful to the Gruber's for providing us a fantastic summer. This was the newest, nicest, cleanest, most well-supplied rental we have stayed in. The owners have really thought of everything to make your vacation special! We came for a week of fishing and relaxing and this lovely home could not have been more perfect. We caught fish all around the bay and even from the dock. The views of Hurricane Bay from the porch are amazing! We had a really great time here and would especially recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
As “snowbirds” from Minnesota, we have been coming to Fort Myers Beach for almost 15 years now. We’ve rented many homes during our visits and we were very impressed with this place. The location was close to everything we wanted to do and the view of the bay from our living room and deck is fantastic. This place was clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything and anything you can think of, from beach towels down to the little things such as thick and soft toilet papers. It even had a small basket of personal hygiene items for us to use since we forgot toothpaste. Wireless internet and phone helped me stay on top of my business. We made good use of the 2 nice bikes. Didn’t have time to fish this trip but fishing poles and baits were available and could have fished right off the deck. Beds and pillows were newer, nice, and comfortable. Jay, the owner, was very accommodating and everything he told us about the process and the acccommodation were true. We would come back here again and recommend it to others.
We were the first guests to stay at 60 Emily Lane on the bay. The facilities were wonderful with beautiful decorating throughout the house. The all new kitchen, supplies, linens and towels were in abundance. We enjoyed the large lani overlooking the bay while we watched all kinds of birds and even saw dolphins swim by. The sunrise was something we looked forward to every morning. Each sunrise was different and so beautiful. New bicycles were available and a grill was furnished.
