The home is located less than a block away from Downtown Carlsbad, where you can enjoy the boutiques, cafes, and all the other happenings, without ever having to get into a car. When it is time for dinner, there is an endless amount of delicious restaurants and cafes for you to choose from, but many choose to cook their meals at the vacation rental. Life doesn't get much better than having your close friends and family around, enjoying a glass of wine, preparing a scrumptious meal as you watch the sun go down on the horizon of the Pacific Ocean Fall asleep to the sound of the lulling waves, wake up and do it again. This vacation rental is a home away from home. Each room has character and everything is professionally decorated. You will find everything you need right in the rental, from beach towels to linens, from spices to coffee grinders and garlic presses. We have stocked the kitchens keeping in mind you might be cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Just imagine all of the memories that will be made on your vacation on the beach! This was a great property for our whole family. We wanted a property that would work for all of us: me, my husband, our kids and both sets of grandparents---which is no easy task. The property was perfect for us. The location is amazing: everything we could possibly want or need was in walking distance---I didn’t have to worry about packing the kids up in the car or the grandparents having to walk far. The front room for the property is wonderful---plenty of space for everyone to relax---and a big, beautiful picture window overlooking the ocean---the adults enjoyed watching the sunset and talking while the kids watched cartoons on the flat screen TV. We also enjoyed the nice, big dining table---all eight of us could sit and enjoy a meal together. The deck was also a wonderful feature: it was great because my husband and I could visit with our parents and have “grownup time," with full visibility of our kids playing on the beach---whether sitting in the front room or on the deck, we were able to keep an eye on them. The hot tub was a great perk too! We kept the heat low when the kids were in there so it was more like having them soak in a warm bath and when the adults wanted to enjoy the hot tub, we turned it up to suit our preferences. We hope to make this an annual retreat!
