The first thing you see as you walk in is a wall of windows with a million dollar view of the lake. To the left is a bath with stand up shower,Across from the bath is a washer/dryer. Then the bedroom which consists of a full size bed, linens, and wardrobe closet and night stand. Also in the bedroom is a view of the lake. Next you will find an eat-in kitchen with new cabinets and a concrete counter top, along with stove, dishwasher,refrigerator,microwave,toaster and coffee maker. Also you have a table with a great view of the lake. Then there is a sunroom attached to the family room with the large wall of windows and a chaise lounge. Outside you will find your own sandy beach, boat dock ,large deck and fire pit along 60 ft of waterfrontage. The lake is private and you can Kayak, swim, boat, fish, iceskate, and ice fish. Also the lake is great for tubing and water sports. The cottage can sleep up to 4, but perfect for a couple or single person. The cottage is 650 sft, and has a clean and cozy feel. The cottage comes fully furnished. Picture yourself here not only in the summer, but also fall foliage. You wouldn't even have to leave to see great foliage. In the winter the view of the snow on the trees is absoulutly beautiful and you can ice fish, and ice skate. We are located very close to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos and several golf courses. We are also located within 20 minutes of train, or ferry. We are also located within 2 hours of NYC and Boston and 20 minutes to commuter rail that takes you into NYC. What more can you ask for? Direct lakefront, Million dollar view and close to world class entertainment at the 2 casinos here in CT. The only thing missing in this pictue is YOU!!!****

May 18, 2011 Thank you for the wonderful get away from busy Boston to allow me to make amazing progress on my dissertation. The view of the lake was inspirational & the overall setting provided the clarity of mind needed to accomplish all that I have this week. Had frequent visits from a pair of Canadian Geese ( I think) and their 4 fluffy chicks. The steam on the lake the first morning was a novel sight & was the promise of the most beautiful day full of sun. Thanks a bunch!! Sara S. Reply judi m 09:56 AM on May 22, 2011 I arrived on 4/5/11, I was pleasantly surprised to see just how lovely this vacation home is. I've stayed in dozens and dozens of vacation homes over the years. This is the cleanest place I have ever been in! Victoria met me here on my arrival. She was friendly, helpful and professional. My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised to find fresh flowers on the table and a beautiful basket full of useful goodies!! Victoria even surprised us with a little welcome note. April 17th Reply victoria 01:23 PM on April 18, 2011 The cottage is very quaint and cozy with a gorgeous view of the lake out the big picture window. I was greeted with a vase of flowers at the front door and a welcome basket of goodies on the kitchen table. Although the week I stayed was cold and I spent most of my time gazing at the scenery from the comfy couch indoors, I can imagine having a great time on the deck and mini-beach out back in warmer weather. The kitchen is big and would be great for someone into cooking. The bedroom is smallish but comfortable and the bathroom houses only a shower not a bathtub. The furnace works great (kinda loud) and I never ran out of hot water. Vicki was very easy to deal with and seems to have thought of everything. I would definitely stay there again if my travels bring me to Connecticut in the future. Nice :-) Reply Sarah 06:25 PM on December 17, 2010 I'm a young travelling professional, and I spent 3.5 months in this cottage from fall to the beginning of winter. The home absolutely suited my needs, and I fell in love the house as well as the lake! The landlords are great to work with, the neighbors are friendly and nothing beats the view! I had a great stay and would definitely consider going back if I return to the area!
