Nearby Attractions: - On the east end of Galveston Island, across from Stewart Beach. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Very close to Galveston's great Downtown, historic Strand District, the Grand 1894 Opera House, Railroad Museum, cruise terminal, and the historic Elissa sailing ship. Under 15 minutes to Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and the municipal golf course.
This was a 3 family getaway for us. My family never stayed in a condo on a trip so we were kind of nervous as of what to expect. When we walked in we were so relieved. The condo was nice, clean, and felt like home, not like a hotel. The high rise view of the beach was beautiful. I arose every morning (enjoyed the complimentary coffee from the Keurig machine) to a beautiful view of the beach on the balcony with lounge furniture available to enjoy it. I had a small child that loved to sit and watch the waves roll in on the sand. It had everything that you would at home except a land-line phone. But who needs that, these days especially on a trip. The pool and the hot tub were nice. Parking was great inside the always locked parking garage. We weren't far at all from the beach strip with all the restaurants and stores along it. We had a blast,and took beautiful pictues. We all agreed that it should be a annual trip to Galveston especially because of the condo. Thanks Barbara for the great experience. Overall the condo deserves 10 stars.
