Far Far Away is ready for the holidays!

Far Far Away is a recently renovated guesthouse located directly between Chester and Mahone Bay; a ten minute drive in either direction and 25 minutes to the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg. The guest house shares a driveway with an early 1900s home and has oodles of privacy in the backyard. The guesthouse is quaint and suited ideally for a couple but can sleep three with a day bed in the spare room off the kitchen that serves as an office or second bedroom. The space is open concept with dark wood floors throughout and a contemporary colour palette of greys and white. The bathroom is completely new and offers a stand up shower and complimentary Aveda bath products. Off the kitchen is a french door that leads to the backyard and large patio complete with outside furniture and BBQ bar. With the help of foliage and fencing the backyard offers a lot of privacy and gets all the morning and early afternoon sun — perfect for enjoying a first cup of coffee or morning yoga.

The guesthouse is furnished with original artwork by Melissa Townsend and is available for purchase. A welcome package awaits your arrival; wifi is available on site as well as cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen is complete with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, stove top espresso maker (Fair Trade espresso and coffee are provided) and all the necessities for making a meal — although i'm not sure who plans on cooking during their vacation. Bedding, linens, beach towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, iron and ironing board are available. If you are wondering about specific items, it’s best to ask when booking. Laundry services and mid-stay cleaning are available for an added fee.
