This small cottage on the inland East Lake is perfect for the family looking for the classic cottage experience in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The cabin is just about 90 minutes West of the Mackinac Bridge, 7 hours from the Metro Detroit area and 9 hours from Chicago. The amenities from home, coupled with the beautiful view of East Lake makes for a perfect get-away. Eat inside at the wooden table and sleep together in the comfy loft. Enjoy fishing on the 120 acre East Lake either from the dock or the rowboat that is provided with the cabin. The walk-out basement with an easy access 1/2 bathroom makes it convenient to walk into the cabin from your campfire. The cabin is also within walking distance to a little store. As with all of our properties, pets are considered-- just ask. Linens and towels are provided as well as basic paper products. Bring your family and enjoy the fun of relaxing in the outdoors.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at East Lake -- a nice quiet place with a great view of the lake -- a nice large lawn -- a firepit - a swing. We did some fishing with the boat -- we did not have much luck, but residents there told us there were fish in the lake to catch. The inside of the cabin is very nice and clean -- love all the windows. The deck was great for barbequeing or just relaxing with a beautiful view all around. The sleeping area was large and very comfortable.
