Property Description
Welcome to “Dancing Bear”. Come and enjoy the
breathtaking beauty of the gorgeous Smoky Mountains from this
beautifully appointed 2 bedroom plus loft condo at The Summit. Watch
the mist come up over the mountains from one of TWO balconies. This
top floor unit offers stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg,
overlooking the ski slopes of Ober Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky
Mountains including Mount LeConte, one of the tallest mountains in
the eastern United States. The condominium has all the comforts
of home so you can just relax and enjoy. The condo is a corner unit
that gives more light, windows and more views, and is kept extremely
clean, smoke free and pet free. Our resort offers an indoor pool and
jacuzzis, as well as an outdoor pool. Our family purchased this
condo for our own and our guests’ enjoyment. It was previously
used just as an owners retreat. The unit has a large loft with two
twin beds as an extra bonus. Kids love to hang out in the loft and
play. Our children call it their own private tree house. The loft
even has a sky light so the kids can watch the stars come out while
lying in bed. Renovations and upgrades are done continuously. In
2014, a brand new Simmons Beautyrest pillow-top mattress/box spring
was installed in the master bedroom. New flat screen LED LCD HDTVs
were installed in all bedrooms with upgraded cable. Dedicated private
high speed wireless internet was added to enable enhanced internet
usage. In 2013, we installed brand new carpeting throughout the unit,
new fireplace tile, large flat screen TV in the family room, and new
beds in the loft and guest bedroom. Every room has a ceiling fan,
and the 20 foot tall vaulted ceiling in the family room gives our
condo a spacious alpine feel. Open both balcony doors, and let the
mountain breeze fill your home with fresh air. Both the master
bedroom and the guest bedroom have queen-size beds. With the
additional sofa bed your home can sleep 8 people comfortably. Plenty
of room for all to have a most peaceful vacation. Dancing Bear is
the largest unit in the complex at 1100 square feet, and is located
on the top floor so you will not be disturbed by anyone above you.

Fantastic mountain condo - Dancing Bear
What a wonderful vacation experience we had! After visiting Gatlinburg for many years and staying in hotel rooms, our family decided to try a condo. After staying in yours, we will never go anywhere else again.
I loved the views from the balcony and the peacefulness of the location. It was beautifully furnished and we felt very much at home. Out children loved to play in the kids loft, and I especially liked having two balconies so we could all enjoy the spectacular views. Everyday the kids had a blast going for a swim in the indoor pool.
We will definitely be visiting Dancing Bear over and over again.
