Sandcastle Condominiums are located on Mustang Island in Port Aransas, Texas. Sandcastle #223 is a large 2BR condo and is appointed with cable TV, complete kitchen, and linen and maid service. The 50 foot patio offers a panaramic view of the pool andbeach. Access to the beach by car or private boardwalk. The unit has been totally updated in November 2013 with new appliances furniture and interior appointments. The "bonus room" has been converted into a 3rd bedroom with twin and trundle beds.The bathrooms have a fully tiled shower in the hall and tub in the master bath.
Policies
* CHECK-IN TIME 4:00 - 6:00 P.M./CHECK-OUT TIME 12:00 PM. * Must be 21 years for reservations; 25 years in the month of March. * No pets allowed in rental units. * No one under the age of 14 allowed in hot tub area. * One night deposit is due within 10 days. Deposit forfeited for less than 72 hour cancellation prior to arrival. * All other cancellations are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. * Two night minimum stay required on reservations, three night minimum on Summer Holidays. * Weekly rate consists of paying for six nights and receiving the seventh night free. * 60 day minimum on Jan. & Feb. long term rentals. * 30 day rentals include a weekly maid service and require a $500.00 deposit in advance. * 30 day rentals forfeit deposit if canceled 30 days or less prior to arrival. * All rental charges are due at check in. All rental subject to state and local taxes. * All rates are subject to change. * All major credit cards accepted.

Nearby Attractions: - Corpus Christi is located only 30 miles away from the Sandcastle Condominiums. Attractions such as the South Texas Art Museum, The Texas State Aquarium, the U.S.S. Lexington Museum, and shopping malls are just a short drive away. In Port aransas Newport Dunes Golf and Country club is located 10 minutes away as well as Port Aransas Municipal Airport.
My boyfriend (36) and I (24) wanted to stay here for a working vacation from law school/graduate school. I am one of the quietest, neatest people you will meet. I go to bed by 10, don't like loud music, and clean when I leave. Our vacation was cancled on us by this condo because I am under 25. It did not matter that the responsible party was 36 or that I am quiet as a mouse and more well behaved than most 30 year olds. No amount of reason could change their minds. Please do not support such a discriminatory establishment.
Owner Response: As owner I checked with our management company. There was no action to any party to cancel in the Month of March for any reason similar to above. The condo has a strict policy that no couple is under 25 in March only unless accompanied by a parent. The complainant could have called me if this indeed occurred but chose not to. I would have been more than happy to explain the policy to them.
We decided to come back again to this condo because of the great location and nice people. We have also been impressed with the quaility of the beach. This is great place to bring the kids or grandkids due to the beautiful pool and hot tub area. If you are vacationing with elderly people, you can take them directly to the beach with your vehicle. You can also park on this area of the beach if you have a permit. I highly recommend this condo.
We enjoyed our stay. This is a very large 2 bedroom condo with fantastic views. The patio is huge. The pool area is great with a short walk to the beach via the boardwalk. You will love your stay.
