Our charming, comfortable two bedroom home is less than a block from the beach in beautiful Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Beach access is very convenient, with swimming, surfing, sunbathing and great fishing only a short walk away, and a community pool for the homes on our block only. Shopping and restaurants abound nearby, some within walking distance, as is the Post Office, with a myriad of other enjoyable activities available within a short drive or bike ride. Don't miss seeing the Wright Brothers monument, commemorating the first airplane flight!
Our house was recently painted and remodeled with new queen beds and a lighter theme inside. It's much more modern and airy, but still a comfortable, homelike place to stay. There is a small area at the top of 2 steps where two people can sit, sip coffee or an iced tea drink chat while listening to the ocean waves, and a large deck around the swimming pool about 15-20 steps away that has an ocean view.
We have a couples special - $50 off for couples on weeks that have not already been discounted. This is for just one couple using one bed only. This special is good until further notice, but only for full week rentals.

Hang gliding at Jockey's Ridge, and only a few miles to the Wright Brothers Memorial where the first airplane was flown. House has been renovated for a more modern but still homelike appearance. Our pool was newly refinished the year before last. Beautiful OCEAN VIEW from the pool, less than 20 steps away from the house. Open May-Sept 4.
