You really can't call this a cabin. Sure it is located in a bucolic mountain meadow and on the pristine Yakima River. And yes it is full of pinewood walls and surrounded by woods. In winter there is cross country skiing, snow mobiling and just up valley you can go downhill skiing at any of the four Snoqualmie Pass ski areas. It boasts a lot of down-hill terrain and one of the largest night skiing operations in the country. In summer, there is horseback riding, hiking, biking or you can just toss your fishing line in the river right off the lawn. And you are bound to catch something too. The Yakima River is considered one of the best fishers in the entire State.   So please do come and spend a stay at Elk Trail Chalet.
