My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Celo River Cabin. The online description is accurate, the property is very rural and rustic. This is an ideal place to go to get away from it all. We came in May, and at that time of year the trees and brush were full of leaves, such that you can not see the house from the road. It is a very sparsely inhabited area, about every five hours or so we heard a car pass by. The cabin itself, transports you back to another time, everything is antique, but very nice and functional. I would give one caveat to those interested, the cabin is not insulated. The first night we stayed it was unseasonably cold (30 degrees), and the cabin was rather chilly, though we were perfectly warm under the blankets. Also the only shower/tub is outdoors. It is surrounded by bushes and is a very private and unusual experience which we enjoyed. We found the property to be clean and well maintained. David stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking along the river and going to see a nearby waterfall. We have already recommended this property to our friends and look forward to our next stay!
Owner Response: We enjoyed having you.!
