Minnesota beachfront resort with 13 cabins on 450 foot level,sand beach on Lake Florida. We are on the east side of the lake with spectacular views of the sunset. We are close to the towns of Spicer, New London and Willmar, Minnesota. The Mall of America and the Minnesota Twins are an easy 2 hour drive away.
Come join us for a relaxing vacation in a lakeside cabin away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Enjoy the lake in a kayak, canoe or on a funbug or hydrobike. We also have bicycles, tricycles and wagons of all sizes. We are close to the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center and Sibley State Park - both are great for nature lovers. The Glacial Lakes Bike trail is also close by.
Enjoy homemade donuts, coffee and juice on Sunday morning and a pizza party on Monday night. Both great chances to get to know your neighbors. On Thursday night we have a hayride for the children followed by a campfire.
The resort with 7 cabins was started in 1924 by Bob's greatgrandfather. We now have 13 cabins. 4 generations have hosted vacations at Dickerson's. Please join us!

Nearby Attractions: - Close to town, but in the quiet countryside. Sibley State park is located 5 miles north of the resort. The Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center is justt 1/2 mile from the resort. 4 Golf courses within 10 minutes, Tennis, Bike Trails, hiking nearby. New London/Spicer is home to the award winning Little Crow Water Ski Team.
