What Can A Vacation in the Slocan Area Provide Rails to Trails and Evans Trail head is on the doorstep of this home! Slocan is the launching point for the Evans Lake Trail into the Valhalla Provincial Park and the start of Rails to Trails at the south end of Slocan Lake to Winlaw, Passmore and South Slocan. Hike or bike the old railbed, swim at our beach, walk the Springer Creek Campground Trails, use our new boatlaunch, or watch the clouds move across our narrow valley. Winter: We are located 1 hour from Red Mountain Ski Hill and 1 Hour from White Water Ski Hill. Snow mobiling in the winter is huge in this area. Hunting in the Fall, Festivals and Markets are through out the Valley area. Swimming, Hiking, Fishing,golfing at two near by courses and relaxing are our some of our daily activitiies.
