What a treat! I really enjoyed my stay at Up The Creek! The setting was perfect for us – just minutes away from Wears Valley Road and its shops and restaurants as well as close to the park, too. It felt really private, too. The “back yard” was a tree covered hillside and I loved that we could walk down a flight of steps to the creek or hang out on the benches on the lower deck. The cabin was really spacious and comfortable. There was comfy seating everywhere – on the decks outside the bedrooms and the living room, and on the screened in seating area. I enjoyed reading in the over-sized rocking chairs and thought the décor was rustic and fun! The appliances worked great. Loved the hot tub! There was tons of hot water and plenty of towels. The picture on the TV – yes, I admit it, we watched some TV – was crisp and sharp, too. The best part of the cabin for me was all the windows. They were everywhere and even when I was inside, I could see outside and enjoy the natural setting of Up The Creek. I hope to be back next year!
