A BOTTLE OF WINE is there to welcome you. Sea Watch is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse located in Gualala. It is furnished in a marine-nautical theme. This home sleeps 4 w/ room for 2 more people, children and some pets are welcome. The rental includes all linens. Most rooms and decks enjoy spectacular broad views of the ocean as it meets the sandy beach at Gualala Point Park. Open a window and listen to the surf! The living room is very inviting, with a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, and lots of seating. The dining area shares the same great setting. Sea Watch also offers a washer and dryer, and a single-car attached garage. Stroll to the Cypress Village and explore what it has to offer: A variety of gift shops and art galleries; Cafe LaLa (espresso drinks, etc.); Cypress Bar & Grill (full menu plus bar); a massage center; and Physical Gym which allows drop-in use for a small fee. The famous Gualala Art Center is nearby. Indulge yourself at famous gourmet restaurants such as Pangaea, and St. Orres or sunset dining at Top of the Cliff or Meza Grill. Also great barbecue and a game of pool at Bones Roadhouse. The charming towncenter of Gualala is also easy to walk to and has just about everything one could want...we are just waiting for you! The master suite has a queen bed, and a lovely Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom plus ocean views. The second bedroom has two twin beds and bathroom with a stall shower. Both rooms open onto a filtered ocean view balcony. Come and let the sound of the surf lull you to sleep!

It's everything we expected and more. The first thing we did every morning was "hit the deck" for an invigorating view and sound of the sea. The last thing before retiring was to "hit the deck" again for amazing Northern California stargazing. The downtown location was PERFECT. You can walk everywhere! You don't need "no stinkin' car" to get around town. Good restaurants, but hey, everything tastes good by the sea! Spent several days exploring, the winery, Ft. Bragg, Mendocino etc. Saw harbor seals south of Gualala. Too late for the whales the end of April. Would definitely stay there again. The SeaWatch Vacation Rental at Gualala is the perfect place to get away. My husband and I visited Sea Watch during our honeymoon and returned a year later with two of our best friends. We found it to be a very relaxing environment and a great location for beach access, fishing, kayaking, and wine tasting in the Anderson Valley. The condo is decorated with a nautical/beach theme but it's not campy or overdone- really just the right amount to make guests feel instantly at home. The family room and bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed. We loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bath. And the kitchen is really well stocked; there's a full set of dishes, serving pieces and basic bake ware. We've stayed at couple other vacation condo/cottage rentals before and we've never found a place that could match SeaWatch in terms of comfort and amenities. We've booked a return trip w/ friends again this summer and we can't wait to come again! PS- We also saw a whale in March 2008 from the kitchen table w/ the spotting scope & binoculars available at SeaWatch!
Positive My husband and I had the pleasure of spending one glorious week at Seawatch. We knew it was going to be nice from the pictures and description on VRBO, but we were absolutely thrilled when we opened the door and saw it for the first time. It exceeded all our expectations! We have stayed at a few beach houses in the past, and this one absolutely surpasses all the rest. It is clear by the way this home is maintained and so tastefully decorated that it is cherished by its owners and likewise will be by anyone who has the pleasure of staying there. The extremely well-appointed kitchen was such a thoughtful addition and really makes one feel pampered. This lovely home is truly a thing of beauty! Jim and Mary R.
We absolutely loved the SeaWatch Vacation Rental. We rented the condo for two couples, for an extended weekend and it was perfect. We went wine tasting, fishing, visited a lighthouse, and walked along the shore. The amenities were above par. The kitchen was better stocked than my kitchen at home.
