I can't help but notice the date on the previous review, which was less than favorable. I find this strange sense my family and I stayed in this unit from Juy 16th thru July 23rd, 2011 - The unit definitely had a dead bolt on the door which was in working order - At no time did any of us feel unsafe or vulnerable. The unit was clean with all of the ammenities that made our stay both enjoyable and comfortable. Because the units are tiered and this unit is in the 2nd tier, we had a great view of the ocean and beach. Without hesitation our family would stay in this unit again.
