18th century beamed farmhouse set in an acre of gardens, welcomes you to come and enjoy the Anjou region with its many attractions We are close to the lovely town of Montreuil Bellay with its charming chateau and river Thouet. We are set on the edge of the beautiful Loire Valley, less than 15 minutes away from the vibrant town of Saumur, the old town of Thouars and the picturesque town of Doue la Fontaine with one of Europe's top zoos. There are several vineyards close by which will welcome you in for a tour and wine tasting. Our gite "Le Vieux Logis" has been furnished to a very comfortable standard and we have tried to create a real home from home, a place where you can come and relax to enjoy that well earned holiday. For our younger guests there are lots of activities to keep them amused both indoors and outside, including a 5mtr x 1.2mtr splash pool, swings, trampoline, sandpit, slide, badmington net, small football goal and basketball net. There is a terraced area outside the gite with plenty of space for relaxing and outside dining.

Inside the gite there is a stair gate, cot & high chair.

Weekend lets are available with the exclusion of July, August & September. Prices will be made at the time of enquiry dependant of number in party.

Pick up and departure from either Poiters or Tours airports or Saumur train station can be arranged. Prices will be submitted at time of enquiry.

From May onwards a discount of 20% is offered for all bookings of more than one weeks gite hire.

A discount is offered for occupancy of under 5 persons in the gite during the months of MAY, JUNE, OCT, NOV & DEC. This rate will be supplied at the time of enquiry.

Evening meals are available for the day of arrival or during your stay. Price for a three course meal, including wine, soft drinks and coffee is 10 Euros per person. Evening meals can be taken with the proprieters or in the comfort of your own gite.
