Private summer cottage for rent on 100 feet of beautiful lakefront property on North Manistique Lake, commonly known as Round Lake, located near Germfask in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Great for one family or two small families. Perfect for a fun and relaxing vacation. The cabin sits 30 feet off the lake. Large yard, fire pit and sandy beach. Good for swimming, sun bathing, boating etc. with 50 feet of shallow water before a gradual drop off. We do provide a canoe for your use as well.
Round Lake is a spring fed, sandy bottom lake one mile by one and a half miles with clear blue/green water. One of the most beautiful lakes you will experience...clean and fresh. The cabin is located safely off the road with plenty of privacy including friendly neighbors on one side and wooded lot on the other.
The summer cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting room with a huge table for meals/games/cards, couch and loveseat, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each as well as a sleeping loft with 5 twin beds. Many windows provide lots of sunlight with blinds for privacy. All linens will be provided.
Enjoy a variety of water sports and fishing as well as hiking and biking in the area. Feel free to rent water craft nearby, or bring your own. There is a boat launch just 5 minutes away. You are welcome to anchor yoru boat safely out front. In addition, 10 miles away in Germfask there is a small grocery store, gas and a few restaurants. 15 miles away in Newberry are a hospital, pharmacy, groceries, gas, hardware store, golf course, restaurants etc. See the Nearby Amenities section below for more information.

Other popular destinations for an afternoon or day trip include Taquamenon falls, Mackinaw island, The Garland zoo, Oswald's Bear Ranch with over 20 adult bears and a few cubs, Fox river canoe trips out of Germfask, a small golf course in Germfask as well as Newberry's golf club.
We stayed at this cabin for a week and had a wonderful vacation. The cabin was very clean and fresh upon arrival. The bathroom had been renovated recently. We had everything we needed. The weather was gorgeous and we kayaked and swam daily. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets - the cabin is situated on the south side of the lake so you get great views for both. We grilled in and cooked most nights. One night we had a nice dinner at Chamberlin's on the way to Curtis just 5 miles away. Nights we played games or cards at the large table or had a fire. We were barely inside, it was just too gorgeous outside. We are planning on coming back next year! This is a great place, amazing location and GREAT VALUE.
