What a pleasant surprise! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Westport. Prices are reasonable, the view is FANTASTIC and you're right on the beach. They were very thoughtful about the furnishings. They had just enough of everything... even plastic cups and plates for little kids and dog bowls for Fido. We couldn't have been happier.
This place is a fantastic, well-maintained vacation community in a cute sleepy sea town. We came here in the off season with a group of friends to dig clams over the Thanksgiving weekend and had an absolute blast for three days. The condo completely met expectations and the master had a giant jacuzzi tub. Kitchen was reasonably stocked, but if you're an avid cook, bring your own knives and cutting board like I did, otherwise you might want to rip out your hair. Plenty of all the necessary cleaning products, towels, and paper products. We had a unit that overlooked the ocean; sipping on a coffee and watching the giant waves crash against the shore is a great way to start the morning. The unit came with a few board games and card, but the clubhouse is much better-stocked and had a solid movie rental collection. I tried to avoid checking with reality and the internets too much on vacation, but I was super grateful for the large 42" LCD TV this weekend because it was Apple Cup (gotta root for my Huskies!) and I was a little bummed about being out of town for that. If you want a relaxing quiet vacation, this is a great destination to consider and it's only 2.5 hour drive away from Seattle.
AWESOME little place to escape to for a weekend or week-long getaway to the WA coast. I had such a great time - I'd go every year if I could. Felt very lucky to be walking distance from the beach so that my hottie could take his surfing board out while my dog and I went frolicking along the beach. Very clean. Hot tub was excellent. Bring bottles of wine to drink in the evening as you watch the sunset or catch up on reading or while watching movies. I think it'd be a great place to get a group of friends to go out to to hang out for a weekend/week - there's a game room, pool, hot tub, beach, grill, ... plenty of wholesome fun. Did I mention pet friendly for that furry member of your family? :)
Recently stayed at Vacations By The Sea condominiums- situated just steps away from the beach. Their beautiful and spacious rooms are newly decorated and feature full kitchens with granite countertops and Jacuzzi tubs. We had a private viewing deck which looked straight out to miles of untouched beaches. Sandwiched between beach pines, the tallest lighthouse on the west coast, and the romantic Pacific Ocean--I couldn't have felt farther away from the stresses of the city!! Their new club house has a pool, spa, workout facility, sports court, putting green, and even a croquet lawn. What a great getaway!
