This superb and spacious moorish style villa on the Costa del Sol comfortably sleeps six and comprises one master bedroom plus one twin bedroom on separate levels and a sofa bed in the lounge. Guests can choose to relax and soak up the sun on the ground floor garden terrace, the first floor south facing terrace or the roof terrace which enjoys 360 degree panoramic and stunning views of the surrounding sea and mountains. Fabulous community pool 50 yards away which is solely for the residents on this small urbinisation and is therefore never crowded open from May to October. All linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and the villa is equipped with microwave, television, washing machine, iron and log burning fire, for the cooler evenings in the winter months. Car hire, scooter hire and airport pickup can be arranged. Once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east. The town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. Places To Visit One of Nerja's many attractions is the Balcon de Europa, an unusual promenade built on a small peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean, and offering spectacular views along the rugged coastline. Visiting Nerja in !885, King Alfonso stood on the peninsula, which had once been home to a Moorish castle, and christened it "The Balcon de Europa." Another world famous attraction is the awesome "Cuevas " at Maro, a village east of Nerja.A theatre has been created within the caverns and famous performers appear at the festival held there every July.
