Ideal for a family or 2 couples, it sleeps up to 6 people with 1 queen bed ( in the large bedroom),1 double size bed and 1 double size bunk bed in room off of master bedroom. Here are some reviews:
Knotty Pine cabin, August 8, 2008 By John Williams (Butte, Montana) 'This was an unexpected pleasure to have a home that came with everything you needed. The view and laid back community was a relief in our busy life. Everything that you want to see on the Oregon Coast is right there at Oceanside. I highly recommend this cost effective and clean rental. '
A Wonderful restful place, By Brandy Pace (Portland, Oregon) 'From the moment you walk through the doors you realize that you are in a special place. In a short time you can feel the cares of the world just drift away as you relax in front of the fireplace and watch the waves from the comfort of a big overstuffed chair. We really enjoyed how quaint, yet how comfortably appointed the cabin is. It really has the feeling of the old Oregon Coast but with all the modern amenities. A real gem and a real find. We will be back! '

We really enjoyed our stay. We wished it was longer. We loved the fireplace with wood provided, the great movie selection and the cozy kitchen being fully stocked. My mom slept in the master room and commented they were the best nights of sleep she'd had in ages. The cabin is perfect for an intimate time with people you love. It felt like home. (My mom used to live in a cabin about that size on the water on Bainbridge Island). I wish I could live there for three months! I will definitely recommend the knotty pine to friends and don't be surprised if we rent it again! Thanks for sharing your space.
I found this to be a perfect retreat for me. The house was lovely, fully stocked and very clean. The wonderful plank paneling on the walls and ceilings, in addition to the fireplace and ocean views made it feel very homey. It was just a short walk to the beach, where you can explore the coast for miles. I even tried some boogie boarding (fun!) while the more adventurous surfed. Unlike many coastal towns, Oceanside isn't overrun by traffic because there's no through highway. That makes it nice and slow-paced and quiet. Even so, there's an excellent restaurant ("Roseanna's") plus a handy coffee shop (which also makes a fine chowder) and a bar. Everything I needed, and the tree house in the side yard turned out to be a perfect place to just sit and watch the sea.
Guest: seattleboys(Seattle, Washington) Date of Stay: 08/04/10 Review Submitted: 08/08/10 We had the best time at the Knotty Pine Cabin - super flexible and easy to work with owners! We found the cabin to be very cozy and very well stocked from kitchen stuff, luxurious bedding, hundreds of dvd's, games and toys! An easy walk to the beach with the generous use of the Burley trailer, sand toys and wetsuits - what a blast and an experience for all to try and surf the waves on the provided boogie boards! The treehouse topped it all off for our three boys - we are now being asked to build one at home! The views were amazing - thanks for sharing your home! Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.
Kary Aloveah (Portland, OR) Date of Stay: February 23, 2010 Review Submitted: February 23, 2010 This cabin is heaven. Love Oceanside - it's small and quiet. Love that the cabin is well taken care of...fireplace burns great, knives are sharpened, everything is clean and well-maintained. Wetsuits for playing in the waves a huge bonus. We always enjoy every minute of our stays at this cabin, and can't wait to come back.

Once again, the tranquility and peace at Knotty Pine swept us away. Our kids loved Rory's Tree House. Kristie enjoyed boogie boarding with our 8 year old and I enjoyed the addition of the televisions. Nothing beats a crackling fire while the wind and waves whisper in the background. We will be back, hopefully soon! -Michael Storm & Family, Dallas, OR
A very cozy, warm, inviting cabin. Reading by the fireplace was totally relaxing when mixed in with walks on the beach. Incredibly well equipped; like never leaving home. Watching the sunset over the ocean from the treehouse was ultra cool! We'll definitely come back. Perfect town and place, if you just really want to unwind & relax. John
The home was nicely furnished and really had everything we needed from the wood to spices to plenty of pillows for all. We enjoyed the tree house and the deck and made several fires inside too. Cape lookout offers a great short hike which we really enjoyed as well. There were many wonderful touches in this cabin and we immediately felt at home. We even donned the wetsuits and had a great time in the ocean. We'll definitely be back again.
