The Morning Mist Cabin is fully furnished from the silverware drawer to the colored tv and everything in between. With room for 8, the cabin includes a gas burning fireplace and plenty of peace and quiet. Just minutes from the Mississippi River, the surrounding area offers plentiful fishing, selective hunting, canoeing, and nature walks. If you prefer the links, enjoy four golf courses within 15 miles. If relaxation is your forte, simply prop your feet up on our covered deck or rest your weary bones in the whirlpool tub. To accomodate larger parties use with the Morning Mist Cottage.

Nearby Attractions: - Two casinos within 50 miles. Numerous historical attractiions. Seasonal hunting, horseback riding and snowmobiling. Many antique shops. We are 25 miles from Field of Dreams. Swiming pools in nearby towns. Boating on the Mississippi and local canoe rentals are available.
Wow, if you want a place to relax then this is it. The view goes on for miles with the wilderness setting and rolling hills. The cabin had everything we needed and very clean. We also played board games which were a plus! And walked on the nature trail. You definitely can't beat the price.
It's always "Just what we needed". My wife and I have stayed at the Morning Mist Cabin on several occasions. We have probably stayed at least once a year in the Cabin or in the Morning Mist Cottage.. We always feel at home and glad to be back each time. We have been here at least once in spring, summer, fall, and winter--it's always great and nature comes up with something to show us every trip--eagles, deer, you never know. The owners are attentive and there if you need something; also good at not bothering you if you're looking for privacy. There is a great view from the deck. We've never had any complaints. I highly recommend it. If you're serious, make your reservation early. Good weather keeps this place busy.
We celebrated our anniversary here. The cabin is roomy, comfortable, spotless clean and offers spectacular views from both levels of the fantastic rolling hills surrounding it. Trails are well groomed and spotting two deer with large racks were welcome additions! Highly recommended!
