Neptune Festival events start in September with sand castle event and art show on boardwalk. Lots of fun to enjoy. We were in town to run the Rock and Roll Half Marathon and wanted something a bit more quiet than a hotel. The cottage was perfect for us. We were able to cook our own meals, the kitchen was well stocked with the right equipment, and the washer/dryer worked well. The bedrooms were good, the beds were comfortable too. Two very small issues -- the bath drained slow and there was no remote for the DVD player. But those were very minor inconveniences! We were able to relax outside on the deck as well in the morning and at night. Plenty of parking too if you have a car. The location was perfect for the boardwalk and the downtown beach area, only a 5 block walk. Plus, there was a grocery store also about a 5 block walk. Very convenient. The communication was very good with the owners too.
My family and I stayed at the beach cottage last week and we had a wonderful time. The house is close enough to walk everywhere you need to go but far enough away to have privacy, a deck, grill, and back yard to play in. The house is so adorable, spacios, clean, and very beachy. It was the perfect vacation house for us.
