The house is located in the Nubian village of Nagh el Quba, opposite the centre of Aswan. The local ferry brings you in 15 min. into town. The house has two floors, and a roof garden with beautiful view over the river Nile, the desert and the Nubian villages of West Aswan. This is a perfect starting place for trips in the area: visiting the Tombs of the Nobles, the St. Simeon Monastery, Philae temple etc. A boat trip on the Nile is recommanded, a camel trip in the desert, walking or cycling in the villages etc.
