Thank You Al and Nelida, as well as Myrna who went out of her way to make sure we arrived and settled in comfortably. Renting a home is so much better than staying in hotels and is much more economical. The apartment was clean and comfortable, except for the patio loveseat. Light outlet on roof needs repaired and a shelf and hook would be nice in the master bathroom. These are trivial things and would not deter me from renting there again. Thank You! The Butler Family
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Villas de Costa Mar very much. The apartment was immaculate and very well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. The apartment is located right across from a very nice beach that is perfect for walking, jogging and taking your family for a picinic. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance as well. I highly recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for the perfect vacation getaway and cannot wait to go back next year!!
It was our first trip to Puerto Rico for the World's Best 10k. Villas De Costa Mar provided an at home environment, giving us the option of cooking in, or dining out. The beach and nearby Gulf Course provided an excellent trail for my daily runs. The manager was friendly and extremely helpful with driving instructions. Rooms were comfortable and clean. This quiet gated property provided a sense of security and privacy.Balcony overlooked beach with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. Thank You Al and Nelida
We completed our 2nd stay at Villas de Costa Mar over the Christmas holiday and were very pleased. Located in a pleasant residential community, it's very cozy and makes us feel right at home. The property is literally across the street from the beach, a major selling point for us. There are several restaurants within a few blocks, as well as a snack shop with full bar on the beach. We shopped at the local grocery store and made our own meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. The owners are accomodating and keep the unit well-maintained. We would stay at this property again and again.
To Al & Nelida Rios We had a very pleasant stay in Dorado; thanks in part to the comfortable accommodations at Villas de Costa Mar. The Unit was a welcomed change from the confined space of a standard and all too often, overpriced hotel room. Your patio was our favorite spot for our morning coffee & the rooftop terrace was the perfect place to take in those spectacular sunsets. Ah...& then there is Dorado Beach, paces away...and it neighbor, Cerro Gordo minutes by car both beautiful beaches. We enjoyed the restaurants, the live music on the weekend & the late night quiet...when the only sound was that of the surf. It doesn't get much better than this. I do think that the Master Bedroom could use a small dresser; both of us were partially living out of our suitcases. Another towel rack or hook in the bathroom would be a practical plus. Our experience on this trip has convinced us that renting is the way to go; and we have you to thank for that.
Perfect location! Seconds from the beach, fully stocked and very clean. Large enough for my husband and me, our two grown children and our 5 year old grandaughter who all flew in from London, England. Your Villa was in terrific conditions, clean and at an excellent location. Our entire family had a great time at the beach. Everything was very convenient. From shopping to finding places to eat. If you are searching for a moment in time in Puerto Rico that is peaceful, cozy, and safe, then consider Villas de Costa Mar as your vacation spot. Nestled on the corner of Calle C in Dorado, the condo units exist in a gated vacation villa that offers you the above. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find that the condo unit is large enough to accommodate our grown daughters, who typically like to spread out during vacation. The apartment includes all the up to date conveniences of home, as well as air-conditioning, wonderful air-conditioning. However, if air-conditioning is not your thing then try the balcony or roof terrace that looks out to beautiful Dorado Beach, which lies yards away from the Villa. Overall, their corner locations, in addition to the gates that ensure safety, give these condo units a much-welcomed sense of privacy. As we traveled south and north in our rented car, the condo became our point place. Villas de Costa Mar is just 25 minutes from San Juan traveling south and 30 minutes from Barceloneta, the home of Prime Outlets Mall traveling north. We were on the move, talking to people in the community itself, who spoke of the locale transforming into a popular spot during the weekends for surf and fun. And indeed, if you choose to partake of the flavor of Dorado, try the beachside restaurants and music spots nearby, we did. The renowned Dorado Beach, just minutes away from the unit, captivated our eyes every day. You see, you are in good company in this location, as the well known Embassy Suites, Hyatt Dorado, and Hyatt Regency, which are ten minutes away along Route 693, share the same coastline. Our favorite short venture was Route 693 to 690 to the Cerro Gordo Beach. Just fifteen to twenty minutes away, this beach is one of Puerto Rico's beautiful little secrets; newly renovated it offers an outdoor showers and a place to change. It is in fact my husband's childhood beach, a beach that gets better, if that is possible. We enjoyed staying at Villas de Costa Mar …it is a nice blend of private, comfortable, vacationing in the upwardly mobile Puerto Rican community of Dorado.
What a great vacation. We enjoyed our 10 day stay. The unit was neat and organized and the location is great. The path between the Dorado golf courses and the ocean was perfect for our daily walk/run!
