At $450 for the first week in August and a clean and comfortable place to enjoy fishing and boating, you can't beat this cabin. I used their boat and caught sunnies, blue gils and bass and cooked them outside on the fire ring almost every night. Later on I sat on the screened porch and watched television and the sun set. Safe and cozy, plus they're pet friendly. I intend to go again this summer.
I stayed at tir na nog in summer of 2010. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was a litte strange though. First it sat on a very small lot and the deck was detached which I thought was very strange. The home was very cut inside with the screened in porch and a nice little kitchen. The house was pretty close to the street which wasn't busy but was still a street. The walk to the dock was down a long path off the end of the street and was very muddy and wet. The dock was not much of a dock and when it rained the water came up and was over it one day. It was a very beautiful lake and I would rent another home on the lake. There was another home for rent up the street from it. It was larger and looked like it needed more work. But that home was lakefront and on a large lot. I called the realty it was listed with and they said $250 a week compared to $450 I do not care what the inside is like, but that is a much better deal than tir na nog and would be more fun. The dock with this cabin is in lily pads which makes it uncomfortable to swim. Also when it rained hard the road flooded to the house and it was difficult to get through that day. It was very buggy. If you do not want to swim, do not mind a tiny yard, or just want to go anywhere to look at nice scenery,and a clean comfortable cabin this is good.
