This charming Beachfront Rental is sitting on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, located in beautiful North County San Diego where the weather is mild all year long. This gorgeous home is fully furnished and professionally decorated, with every necessary amenity. Take a second and imagine what your beach vacation could be like…. Wake up to the sound of the ocean. Cook a delicious breakfast in your kitchen with your entire family, wander outside and eat it as you gaze out to the sea. After breakfast, plan to be at the beach all day for a day of sun, surf, play, and most of all relaxation. The beaches in San Diego are nothing short of spectacular, with wide sandy beaches and gorgeous waters year round. After a day at the beach, take stroll. Wander down to Leucadia where you will find quaint boutiques, mouth watering Mexican food, and local coffee houses, among many other places, all which are reminiscent to the classic beach city feel. Many choose to cook their meals at the vacation rental….life doesn’t get much better than having your close friends and family around, enjoying a glass of wine, preparing a scrumptious meal as you watch the sun go down on the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. Fall asleep to the sound of the lulling waves, wake up and do it again. Perhaps one day you stroll down to the farmers market, or the seaside bazaar, North County’s only flea market. At night, you may enjoy Calypso café, a small restaurant serving up great food with local bands playing every night. Or maybe you would enjoy Bar Leucadian, a neighborhood bar that has been there since 1946, and has live music, pool tables, and no cover. This vacation rental is a home away from home. You will not feel like you are in a hotel room. Each room has character, and everything is professionally decorated. You will find everything you need right in the rental, from beach towels to linens, from spices to coffee grinders and garlic presses. We have stocked the kitchens keeping in mind you might be cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Just imagine all of the memories that will be made on your vacation on the beach!

We reserved this property for a very special reunion of friends from study abroad: we hadn’t seen each other in 10 years and wanted to choose the perfect fit for our group. I was so nervous/stressed out about finding the right property, but the Beachfront Only staff made the process easy and alleviated my fears. They were extremely helpful and efficient throughout the whole process: when we called Beachfront Only, the reservation staff listened carefully to our needs, and helped us to identify a property with sleeping accommodations to suit a coed group of non-related people, and they also helped us figure out a property that worked with our budget---I was extremely grateful for the help---I had no idea what to expect when we started our search! When we first walked into the property, my jaw dropped: I fell in love with the openness of the property and was impressed with how clean and comfortable the property was. The main level of the property features the kitchen and a large front room connected to a big patio overlooking the ocean---wonderful! (The hot tub was also a nice perk!) I really couldn’t believe how well-equipped the property was: the kitchen had all of the flatware and utensils we needed to prepare our meals together. All of the linens and towels were provided---even our beach towels! The front room also has a nice, big flat screen and DVD player---we were able to watch slide shows of our study abroad time together and reminisce, which really meant a lot to our group. It was so nice to be able to just arrive, relax and share our time together after being apart for so long. We also all enjoyed the surrounding community of Encinitas very much: the beach is a beautiful, white sand beach and the surrounding community has lots of great/unique shops and restaurants.
