This charming vacation home is located in beautiful Lake Arrowhead California. It is situated on .5 acres with gorgeous views of the distant tree lined valley off the back dining room, beautifully decorated with French country and antique touches makes this a very tranquil and "home like" place to stay. It is 30 minutes to skiing at Snow Valley and Big Bear Lake ski resorts and 1.5 hrs from Los Angeles and 2 hours from San Diego. This charming vacation rental features 2 bedrooms, one bathroom plus a separate enclosed sleeping loft upstairs with a queen bed..Living room with fireplace, kitchen with commercial appliances for the gourmet traveler with beautiful mountain views while you prepare your meals, great deck off the back of the house for BBQ's or pure relaxation and fresh mountain air, bar and game room with a beautiful pool table on the upper level! Has Wifi and cable to do some work or just enjoy watching a movie or two... Lake Arrowhead is in the San Bernardino mountains east of Los Angeles at an altitude of 5,100 ft. and is a private lake. It is known as the "Hollywood getaway" for many movie stars starting from the 1920's and continues to host the like to this day in the expansive chateaus that you'll find perched along the lake front. Summer offers beautiful weather, warm water and a chance to enjoy this private lake by waterskiing or a boat ride on the old time riverboat that offers tours of the historic lake and all of it's properties. Winters are magical as the Town center lights up with holiday lights and a blanket of pure white snow offering events all season for the family. Nearby Attractions: - There is a carousel along the lake's edge as well as a mini racetrack and playground for the children. They have many popular brand outlet shops in the upper level of the town center including COACH, BASS, IZOD, FAMOUS FOOTWEAR, etc. as well as a variety of restaurants to choose from such as THAI,BBQ,MEXICAN,ITALIAN,ALL AMERICAN FARE and our personal favorite for the whole family is Woody's on the Lake. There is a movie theater, gourmet large food market as well as a STARBUCKS and JENSEN'S
Angel's lair was a great place to stay with me and my friends. The place was spacious and and the amenities were great. The views in the dinner space was outstanding and the living space is clean. Angel was a great host and answer my questions very fast. The pool table got alot of play with my company and never once did we feel cramped at this space. The location was easy to reach and the town center was not to far away. Alot of street parking so dont worry. Overall the place was great, Angel was great and will definitely book again.
We stayed at Angel's Lair in December for our holiday trip and had a beautiful time. The house is comfortable and decorated so darling. We went to the movies, dined out and had several meals at the house which were so nice as we looked out over the snow capped mountains and tree tops and felt like we were on top of the world. The kids enjoyed the activities so much. I highly recommend this rental and we will be back! Thank you.
I loved, loved, loved this vacation rental. We managed to get in for the Thanksgiving season and had a beautiful dinner with the family there. The dining room in the back of the house was my fav as it had such pretty views I could have stayed forever! The pool table upstairs was a lot of fun as well as the walks in the snow. We had reservations at a hotel but changed our minds at the last minute and stayed at Angel's Lair and it was a good decision as well had the freedom to cook and enjoy the fireplace in the living room. We will try to make it again this November.
